A big difference between the program that are available and the way that Gentoo work is the fact that the packages are binary packages. The Gentoo version of the program use the specifically application java-config to locate the java application and the dynamic library that are needed. The start-stop-daemon application is used to start the services. The Gentoo version contains special security issues. Theses features ensure that program run safely. | |
